Premise: This is not a wish-fulfillment story, and there are no purely good or evil people.
Wang Xifeng has no so-called God's-eye view, either. Everything is told from her own perspective.
About this story:
After Wang Xifeng dies, she returns to the day she gave birth to Qiaojie.
In this life, whether men are worth anything doesn't matter. What matters is finding a way forward and a future for herself and her child.
Wealth and glory are all illusions. She only wishes for peace, happiness, and lasting tranquility.
Not all of the Twelve Beauties of Jinling from Dream of the Red Chamber will necessarily appear.
This story breaks up Baoyu and Daiyu, and she will not end up with Baochai, either. (Baoyu doesn't deserve either of them.) The characters' core personalities from the original work will be respected.
P.S. No romance pairing. Jia Lian doesn't count; they are more like partners.
I read that the old emperor is about to die. It may not be the most strategic article, but it is indeed one of my favorite Red Mansions articles. Tip: Be careful if you like Baochai.
