Sis, You're Not Important Anymore

On the tenth anniversary of my sister's marriage by proxy, she suddenly came back.

The whole family stared at her in silence.

She yawned and said nonchalantly:

“I've been to thirteen countries. I'm exhausted.”

“Where's Xiaorui? He must be in primary school by now. Why hasn't he come to see his birth mother?”

Xiaorui was my sister's son.

After giving birth, my sister faked her death on her wedding day, leaving behind her son and fiancé.

The Shen family was an old-money clan in Beijing's elite circles.

My parents didn't dare offend them, so they decided to bundle me off to the wedding right after I graduated.

Over the past ten years, I had become a good wife and a devoted mother.

Looking at how self-righteous my sister seemed,

my parents turned to me. I smiled faintly and said:

“Xiaorui and his father went to Hong Kong for a trip.”
