"Walden" is a record of the American writer Thoreau who lived alone by Walden Pond, describing what he saw, heard and thought during more than two years. The changes in the scenery caused by the changing of the seasons, as small as the fight between two ants, are all vividly reproduced in Thoreau's wonderful pen, and the description is not superficial, but has the precision of a naturalist.
