From 1937 to 1953, war swept across China. Under the rainy night under the parasol trees in Nanjing City, the love between young master Xie Yunxiang and the three Jing sisters Xueting, Xuezhen and Xuelan is intertwined with the fate of political figures such as Song Ziwen and Jiang Yuze to form a picture of a troubled world. From the destruction of their homeland to the fight against U. S. Aggression and aid to Korea, they made difficult choices between hatred of country and family and love and faith, and together they composed an unfinished love song that had ups and downs in the torrent of the times and never stopped.
