Looking for a Period Novel Where the Female Lead Doesn't Go into Business and Has a Really Good Job
Are there any female-led stories about the reform and opening-up era where the heroine doesn't go into business, run a company, or invest? I'd like her to have a good job, perhaps work her way up from a broadcasting station to become a host, or rise through the ranks from the grassroots. Writing or being a diplomat would also be fine.
