The Witch Takes on Disciples! The Entire Divine Realm Fears I'll Destroy the World

It’s been eight thousand years. Who still remembers the disaster that nearly swallowed the entire world?

People kneel before the seven immortal witch saviors and worship them as gods, but never mention the far more terrifying being: the Eighth Witch.

She could control the laws of all things and bring the rotting back to life. Back then, she could have easily toppled the source of the disaster, yet instead she took me and hid away in a secluded forest.

“From today on, you’re my one and only disciple.”

My master had barely finished speaking. I hadn’t even gotten a feel for magic when the seven “gods” sent assassins right to the forest’s edge.

They raised the banner of “protecting the world,” fear plain in their eyes. “The Eighth Witch’s disciple must not be allowed to live! She’ll destroy the peace we’ve had for eight thousand years!”

Clutching the beginner’s spell my master had given me, I watched divine magic rain down from the sky and suddenly laughed.

“Afraid I’ll destroy the world? Then why don’t you try surviving the first move my master taught me!”

After all, no one knew that the remnant of that disaster had already taken root inside me. If I couldn’t survive, then this world wouldn’t get to keep existing either!
