I’m the Mosquito King of the City, and I Specialize in Putting Arrogant People in Their Place

Lin Fan, a high school sophomore bullied by the school's tyrant, is bitten by an ancient demonic mosquito and unexpectedly awakens the bizarre ability to control billions of mosquitoes! He thinks he's simply gained a handy means of self-defense, never realizing he'll be swept up in a global storm of supernatural powers. He's a freak in his classmates' eyes, and the “Mosquito King” in his enemies' nightmares. When a cult that claims to “purify the world” brands him a filthy heretic who must be eliminated; when a secret organization that protects the hidden world offers him a place among them, yet conceals scrutiny and schemes beneath its friendly gestures; when the favored daughter of an ancient clan fights by his side, their feelings for each other quietly growing even as they each pursue their own mission... Lin Fan realizes that what he has inherited is far more than the power to control swarms of insects. It is also a mystery surrounding an ancient, sealed bloodline, one powerful enough to overturn the world's order.
