A Wall Between Our Hearts

Ten years later, Lin Weixi returns to her hometown to work at the old family home. The locust trees in the old lane are just as she remembers them, but Shen Zhi, the childhood friend who once swore to protect her, has become a stranger, distant and aloof. He is no longer the boy with a light in his eyes, but a quiet, reserved auto repair shop owner. When a sudden storm forces her to ask him for help, she ends up staying at his home as if fate had led her there. On a rainy night without power, candlelight flickers and old shadows fall across the room. Between them lies not only ten years of silence, but also a cold wall of the heart that still needs to be broken down. Is this reunion the end of their regrets, or the opening chapter of a new story?
