"Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" (referred to as "Liao Zhai") is a collection of short stories in classical Chinese written by Pu Songling, a writer in the Qing Dynasty. It uses "flower demons and foxes" as the core image, and uses ghost stories to reflect various aspects of the human world. This book is adapted from "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" into a modern version of Liaozhai.
