After staying up all night to beat Warcraft III: Reforged, 40-year-old Ye Tian suffers cardiac arrest. When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself in a farmer's cottage in Elwynn Forest, back in the body of an 18-year-old boy. He touches himself to confirm that he has been reborn. The real birdsong outside and a farmer's voice shatter the illusion that this is merely a game setting. Before bed, he happens to notice a faint golden mark appear in his palm, then vanish in an instant. He assumes it was a hallucination brought on by being reborn and sets his doubts aside for now.
