Born with a damaged spiritual root, Lin Che was branded a good-for-nothing in the cultivation world and cruelly expelled from the Xuantian Sect. By chance, he found a mysterious bronze “Spark Core” in Falling Star Valley, and it became the key that opened the door to the world of mechs.
After a series of twists and turns, he arrived in “Scrap Mech City,” a place scorned by cultivators. Amid the clamor of its machine shops, he teamed up with the hot-tempered mechanic Su Mu, drawing on basic mechanics from the cultivation world and combining them with technology salvaged from the stars to build his first custom mech, the Stardust. From his first battle against the bone-eating insectoid race and his meeting with the spirited, dashing mech pilot Xia Wanxing, to following the mysterious Chu Qingyao to the low-tier planet Blue Star and fighting the Xuantian Sect as it trampled their home in pursuit of a relic from a top-tier civilization, Lin Che used his steel mechs to shatter the prejudice that “cultivation comes first,” again and again.
The story features spectacular battles in which mechs tear through warships with shoulder-mounted ion cannons, as well as the bonds forged in battle among companions of different temperaments. From the struggle to survive amid the ruins of a low-tier planet to the search for the truth behind the disappearance of a top-tier civilization, Lin Che has always believed: “What’s so great about cultivation? Mechs are the real romance for men.” Guided by the Spark Core and fueled by an iron will, he grows from an outcast of the cultivation world into a Mech God Emperor capable of protecting his home and ranging across the stars. In a universe where spiritual energy and technology collide, he blazes a passionate path all his own as a mech warrior.
