The Strings Fell Silent, the Fingers Moved On

A note from the author: This is written by a real person. Because I’m forgetful, I can’t help labeling the characters by name after their lines. I hope readers will forgive me! This isn’t a wish-fulfillment story, but life should be a thrill! What makes it thrilling? Having faith amid hardship, kindness amid the unpredictability of human nature, perseverance in peaceful times, and belief amid despair and collapse. From the moment she was born, the heroine couldn’t tell whether she’d been dealt a good hand or a bad one. The good was so pure, and the bad so absurd! There are no sudden explosions of drama. Everything in life leaves a trail, and suspense never comes out of nowhere. From family to love, one person experiences the good and evil of three generations: in youth, on the road to maturity, and finally, making peace with herself deep down. From not seeing, to not understanding, to not seeing through it, then seeing through it, and realizing that without breaking, there can be no building. This is the heroine’s journey from seeing with her eyes to seeing with her heart. Every event is ultimately an inner journey. It’s too hard to live without regrets toward the world... So at least live with a clear conscience toward yourself!
