The Road to Empire

A laboratory explosion sent Li Quan, an agricultural student, transmigrating to the Stone Tribe in the age of the Great Wilderness. Here, food was scarce, and more than thirty people scraped by on hunting and gathering. Children fought over half a wild yam, while the old chief was slowly wasting away from a hunting injury. The threat of starvation was never far off.

Armed with modern rice seeds and knowledge, Li Quan became an “oddity” in the tribe. Defying opposition, he cleared paddy fields by the river and turned the earth with crude stone hoes, tending the seedlings day and night despite everyone calling his plan “wildly unrealistic.” From the first sprouts that challenged everything the tribe believed to the harvest that solved their food crisis, Li Quan gradually earned their trust.

He didn’t stop at farming. He improved their tools, built sturdy homes, and explored trade routes, transforming the Stone Tribe from a weak clan into a settlement with an agricultural system and craft workshops. As neighboring tribes joined them and their institutions took shape, the once-small tribe grew stronger step by step. At last, under Li Quan’s leadership, it rose across the vast Great Wilderness to become a sprawling, prosperous empire. This is an epic tale of survival, innovation, and the evolution of civilization.
