Dead, Dead, Dead Again

Xiao Yimo is a tough, no-nonsense woman from the twenty-first century. She can handle herself in a bar and cook in the kitchen, as long as it's instant noodles. She spends her days doing nothing much, living off the meager pay she earns from writing novels. She stays up so late every night that the roosters start crowing, until at last she collapses. “Ventricular fibrillation! Quick! Clear!” “Ow...” When Xiao Yimo opens her eyes again, she sees a crowd gathered around her. Everyone is dressed in ancient clothing, and even the street looks like it's from the past, just like a scene from a TV drama. She pinches her cheek. It hurts. Has she transmigrated? A carriage comes racing toward the dazed Xiao Yimo. “Ah...” Xiao Yimo is sent flying, then crashes hard to the ground! “System alert: Protagonist dead. Restarting!”
