The Turmoil of Change in the Jin Dynasty

Zhang Chao and Liu Jun transmigrate into the Eastern Jin and Western Jin dynasties. Though they hold lowly positions, they aspire to bring about change. The conservative forces at court stubbornly obstruct reform to protect their own interests. The emperor is mired in difficulties, and reform is urgently needed, or the country will fall into decline. Though the two protagonists are clever and bold, social constraints make the path to reform arduous. With the help of the System, they grow through a cycle of "issuing missions, completing challenges, earning rewards, and unlocking stronger abilities." Despite the many obstacles, they continue to make preparations and try to break the deadlock. In the end, reform succeeds, but at great cost. Many of those who helped them make sacrifices, yet the Eastern Jin and Western Jin dynasties gain a new opportunity for development.
