When I woke up, I, Xiao Yu, had landed in another world crawling with monsters. From the start, I was targeted by the strongest villain, Tara. He said I had a one-in-a-million Shadow nature and tried to force me to inherit his empire. What a joke! Who would want to be a puppet queen, obviously destined to be a scapegoat?
I planned to run, but whenever danger struck, I found myself summoning ghost-shadow soldiers against my will. The Resistance's hero called me a harbinger of disaster, and Uncle Long, once my ally, turned his blade against me. If the forces of light wouldn't accept me, and the darkness wanted to use me... then I would be the one to rule this power!
When Tara's trap turned everyone against me, I chose to devour him instead, making him my first “source of nourishment.” I recruited shadow generals, outwitted giant shadows, and conquered the skies! One by one, the nine Shadow Legions submitted to me. In the final battle, I crowned myself the one and only Shadow Queen atop Tara's remains.
I enacted new laws, used the shadows to bring peace to a world in turmoil, and brought order through fear. But the man who once protected the light has now formed an alliance to destroy me and my empire. He says I've fallen into darkness. I say he doesn't understand reality.
Then an ancient demon tore open the sky, threatening both worlds. He clung to the laughable idea that human nature is inherently good, while I commanded absolute shadow power. Would we keep fighting each other, or join forces against the enemy? And when the time came to sacrifice everything, I finally understood: a true queen is defined not by how much power she possesses, but by the courage to make sacrifices.
But after I lost all my powers and returned to an ordinary life, a familiar shadow knelt respectfully before me in a corner once more...
It's pretty good, but the world view would be better if it were the original world view.
