Walking Alone in the Red Mist: The Doomsday Countdown

The sudden “Crimson Mist” event brings strange, blood-red fog across the globe, containing unknown radioactive particles. Of the humans exposed to the fog, 10% awaken supernatural abilities, including elemental control, physical enhancement, and mental interference. These abilities have different ranks, from the highest, S-class, to the lowest, D-class. Another 30% become mindless “walking corpses” that do nothing but bite, while the remaining 60% remain ordinary humans. Meanwhile, animals on Earth are affected by the radiation and undergo terrifying mutations. They grow several times, even dozens of times, larger and develop various special abilities, such as steel-like scales, venomous spit, or high-speed movement. The more extreme the mutation, the stronger the abilities and the greater the threat. Six months after the event, human civilization has collapsed and cities lie in ruins. Survivors struggle to stay alive amid scarce resources and danger at every turn.
