Call from the Abyss: Codename Mole

198X, East Berlin. Jiang An, a field agent of our security department, was on a mission to instigate rebellion. He watched his informant being executed on the street. He fell into a perfect trap and was labeled a "traitor" and wanted internally. At the same time, Shen Suwen, the chief analyst at the headquarters, discovered a paradox from a piece of top-secret intelligence claimed to be intercepted by the "Abyss Project" (i. E., The Berlin Tunnel): a Soviet expert who was supposed to have died in a car accident three years ago was actually "resurrected" and signed the message. She is convinced that the intelligence gold mine we are proud of has long been penetrated and turned into a "pseudo abyss" for one-way transmission of false information. Her doubts made her the target of internal purges. Two "traitors" in desperate situations, one on the run on the streets of Berlin and the other in the headquarters building, decided to join forces and use all "unlimited" means to uncover the "mole" hidden deep in our hearts. However, when they get infinitely closer to the truth, they discover that this is not just a scam, but an ultimate trial that tests all humanity, loyalty and faith.
