Last Night’s Turmoil Has Yet to Pass

Five years ago, Lin Wanyan fled a reckless night.

She took a secret with her and left behind a tangled affair with no answers.

Five years later, she returns to S City to save Lin Entertainment, only to encounter the one person she least dares to face outside the Gu Group headquarters.

Gu Huaijian hasn’t changed.

He is still distant, restrained, and always several steps ahead.

But only Lin Wanyan knows that what began between them that night five years ago was something they could never let the light touch.

Only later does she realize that some storms never ended the night before.

They were simply waiting for her to come back.
