Su Nian, an observer at Yundingshan Weather Station, is the loneliest person in the world. There is only the sound of wind, rain and cold data in her world. The only solace was the morning broadcast from the bakery at the foot of the mountain - the man with a warm voice would use the weather forecast and the aroma of bread to create a window into the fireworks of the world for her monotonous days.
Lu Yu, the owner of the "Weather Bakery", has an unwritten rule: bake lemon tarts on sunny days, make cinnamon rolls on rainy days, and make an extra portion every day for that possible "friend on the top of the mountain." He didn't know her name, but he could feel her loneliness in the sound of the wind.
A sudden heavy rain and an equipment failure forced Su Nian to "go down to earth". When she stood in front of him, he saw the thin calluses between her fingers and instantly understood - it turns out that the end of the wind is you.
But she fled in a hurry like a frightened bird. Because she was afraid, the warmth at the foot of the mountain was a gentle place that she could never return to once she touched it.
Until there was a snowstorm that closed the mountains. The man carried a bag full of bread and walked through the deep snow up to his knees, knocking on the door of the weather station.
"I'm afraid you're hungry," he said.
At that moment, Su Nian knew that the wind had stopped, the snow had stopped, and the sky was clearing up in her world.
