The story takes place on Blue Star in the near future, where the environment has deteriorated, diseases are rampant, and mankind is facing an existential crisis. The protagonist Lin Fan, a terminally ill genetic engineer, accidentally activated an ancient dust-laden laboratory out of desperation. A set of nanobiotechnology called the "Eden Project" is left in the laboratory, which can reshape life with genetic precision. In order to save himself, Lin Fan injected a set of immature nanocells into his body.
This set of nanocells not only miraculously cured his terminal illness, but also began to evolve independently and deeply integrated with his genes. He has super self-healing ability, extremely high adaptability to the environment, and can even initially control nanoparticles in the body to reconstruct matter.
