Lin Mo, a low-level data maintainer, discovered due to an accident that his neural chip produced unique "noise" - he could not be monitored by "Atlas" and could even vaguely perceive the true desires of other "optimized" human minds. He was found by "Echo", an underground organization pursuing "freedom of choice", and used his "golden finger" to launch a secret struggle about freedom, humanity and the meaning of existence in a highly ordered future society.
