Dual male leads: Shen Yan, a cold and taciturn restorer of ancient books, distant on the surface but deeply devoted to the stories behind antiquities, and Lu Shi, a lively, free-spirited relic livestreamer who can talk at length on camera but knows little about “old things” in private, though he treats them with reverence. The two cross paths over a damaged Song Dynasty silk painting. As they work to restore the artifact, they gradually mend the “cracks” in each other’s hearts.
