· Gu Nian is a little-known actor at the very bottom of the entertainment industry. Easygoing, professional, and an excellent cook, his only bit of bad press is that a rival once spread a rumor that he was “clinging to top-tier star Jiang Xun for clout.” Ever since, he’s gone out of his way to avoid Jiang Xun, afraid of getting dragged into more trouble.
· Jiang Xun is a top-tier star in the Chinese entertainment industry, aloof and refined on the outside but an overthinker with a vivid inner world. After accidentally seeing Gu Nian gently feeding a cat in a corner of the set, he became convinced Gu Nian was a little angel, untainted by the entertainment industry’s filth.
· To get close to the “white moonlight” in his heart, the aloof top-tier star begins pursuing him through a series of “clout-chasing” antics:

· Gu Nian gets cast in a drama, so Jiang Xun invests in it and slips in a demand that Gu Nian be his “exclusive supporting actor.”
· The whole internet mocks Gu Nian for “being a nobody and acting like a star,” so Jiang Xun follows him on Weibo and drops into the comments: “He acts well, and he’s an even better person.”
· When Gu Nian finally works up the courage to ask, “Teacher Jiang, why are you so good to me?” Jiang Xun answers without batting an eye, “I like you.”
· Then one day, Gu Nian accidentally enters Jiang Xun’s elite fan group and discovers that the user with the ID “XunNian’s Number One Superfan,” who posts “Did Nian and Jiang Xun cuddle today?” every day and analyzes all of Jiang Xun’s microexpressions, is the fandom’s biggest shipper…and it’s Jiang Xun himself!
· From then on, one frantically hides his secret identity while the other pretends not to know. Amid countless sweet “accidents” and “coincidences,” they join forces to uncover the mysteries of the past and reach the top of the entertainment industry together.
