Also known as Sword Qi Near, A Record of Seeking Heroes in Jiujian Sword Province
[Xianxia] + [Wuxia] + [Sword World] + [Genius Protagonist] + [Master Expert] + [Light Comedy]. A somewhat traditional style. If that’s not your thing, proceed with caution!
Lin Cong was once a prodigy. Now he’s even more talented, but his youthful arrogance keeps getting him into trouble.
He steals the secret martial arts manuals of powerful clans as if it were nothing, picks fights with senior figures of the martial world, becomes sworn brothers with the top-ranked person on the Assassination List, spreads rumors that the head of a famous sect has been cuckolded, publicly offers a fortune to find a father for the notorious female demon’s child, and spends his master’s coffin money on chivalrous deeds...
“Don’t worry! Don’t worry!” Lin Cong says, completely unruffled. “Besides, my master was involved in plenty of it too!” He picks his nose nonchalantly.
“What? You want to know who my master is?” Lin Cong smiles brightly. “Listen up: my master is none other than the Sword Saint! One of the Four Great Heroes Under Heaven, known as the Western Saint Sword, Han Feng. He once competed with the Sword God for the title of number one under heaven, and he’s a peerless hero who dares to take on every clan by himself! And he’s the master of me, the future number one under heaven!”
“Oh, enough talk. I’ve got something big to do!”
A few days later...
The “mighty” Sword Saint stares at the latest martial-world news, utterly exhausted. The veins on the back of his hand stand out as he crushes the paper in his fist. Through gritted teeth, he says, “That accursed brat abducted the daughter of the foremost clan!” Then he sighs helplessly. “Ah, well. I am his master, after all.”
