Reborn: This Time, Let Me Love You

Chu Nanyi's husband cheated on her with her best friend, who stabbed her to death.

In her final moments, Li Mingjue, the man she had rejected as a marriage alliance, held her and wept.

Given a second life, she kicks out her freeloading best friend and dumps her scumbag ex. This time, she wants to marry Li Mingjue.

But after she coldly rejected him in her previous life, he turns her down in this one.

After having her confession rejected again and again, she finally loses heart and stops bothering him.

But when her best friend frames her and she faces one crisis after another, Li Mingjue always appears just in time.

She asks, “Do you like me?”

He says, “No. I only helped because of our elders.”

She pins him against the wall. “Once or twice might be a coincidence, but this many times means you planned it, doesn't it?

Li Mingjue, just give in and marry me.”

Li Mingjue isn't blinded by her beauty. He pushes her away and says, “I remember very clearly that you said you loved Lin Feng and would only ever want him. No one else could catch your eye. So what exactly are you after, coming to me with this now?”

Chu Nanyi is at her wit's end. Lin Feng is like a dog-skin plaster, sticking to her and making a mess of everything. She really can't make a move with him around.

After a minor car accident leaves her with a scraped leg, she gets an idea: she uses the injury as an excuse to pretend she's hurt her head, and launches into a shameless campaign to win Li Mingjue over.
