The Great Physician Official

Use medicine to understand the officialdom, and medical principles to grasp the principles of governance. A doctor heals people; an official doctor treats “illness,” healing not only the physical and mental ailments of officials, but also the systemic ills of the bureaucracy. Through the protagonist's unique perspective, the story shows that traditional Chinese medicine is not merely the art of healing, but a complete philosophical system for understanding the world and seeing into human nature. Its ultimate insight is this: the highest form of “medicine” heals the heart and the world.
