In the fourth year of Chui Gong, the palace of the Yue Prince in Yuzhou was destroyed. The 8-year-old Li Zerun (original name Li Jue) witnessed his father Li Zhen self-immolation. His biological mother Wang (Empress Wang's distant niece) used a personal jade (engraved with the word "Li" to hide the shape of "Jue") to rename him "Zerun" and entrusted it to Di Renzhen (Di Renjie's younger brother, who had been favored by the King of Yue in his early years).
