City of Sin 2: The Undercover Agent Returns

Dual male leads + episodic cases + major case + happy ending

There is a romance, but the story focuses more on the plot.

“May you return home, and build a happy family”

A ghost-fire boy dies suddenly and mysteriously, a girl vanishes without a trace, and a nine-square grid is laid out in perfect order...

An anonymous tip sets off a wave of bizarre cases. The web hanging over Haibei will eventually be torn apart.

“Phoenix” has once again set foot on that road devoid of light.

She says, “In our line of work, we never look forward to tomorrow, because we don’t know if we’ll live to see it.”

This time, will she see the old friend who vanished ten years ago after “betraying” their companions again...

“For this pure land, we will eventually perish.”
