Global Highway Survival: Don't Push It Too Far!

Humanity around the globe is swept into a road-survival game. The moment Cong Meili opens her eyes, she finds that the rental apartment she depends on has become a moving vehicle. The fuel gauge is in the red, the supplies are gone, and the game is at hellish difficulty from the start. Even more absurdly, there's a talking rat hidden in the storage compartment. It's clever but a coward, whining, “Who'd want this dumb job?” while pinpointing hidden supplies in an abandoned gas station.

Hold on, hold on. Here's what actually happened: Cong Meili wants to lie flat every day, but the game System is bored and keeps bossing him around. The rat doesn't want to work either and is incredibly lazy, so in the end Cong Meili has to do everything. He also keeps losing the rat, which bickers with him every day, refuses to admit when it's wrong, and starts acting up with a swish of its rump. On top of that, it's exceptionally unlucky.

And so he tears across the wasteland in his “rental-apartment camper,” while the rat handles scavenging and avoiding danger. It's just that the rat keeps getting more outrageous. Going to steal eggs from mutated crows? Don't push it, okay!
