In 2023, a senior researcher at our city's museum died in a mysterious fall on the eve of preparations for a special exhibition called "A Hundred Years of Northeast Asian Archeology." Only a series of mysterious numbers engraved on bronze fragments were left at the scene. The police hastily closed the case as an "accidental mistake", but the deceased's daughter, young archaeologist Lin Wan, firmly believes that her father was silenced because he touched a shocking secret.
She teamed up with her father's best friend during his lifetime - Chen Zhen, a former criminal investigation captain who retired due to injury and had extraordinary profiling abilities, and decided to pursue the truth alone. All clues point to a project that my father devoted all his efforts to research in his later years: a "Yuan Dynasty bronze coffin" that has only sporadic records in the archives of the Japanese and Puppet period, but has never been seen in public.
As the investigation deepens, a huge shady story spanning archeology, cultural relic smuggling and historical crimes is slowly unveiled. They discovered that the bronze coffin was not a simple cultural relic, but the key to a vast underground empire code-named "Kingdom of Heaven". This empire is controlled by a "gentleman" who has supreme power in both black and white, and his tentacles have already penetrated into every corner of society.
Every step closer to the truth, they will encounter fatal obstacles from the dark. And when they finally cracked all the codes and found the true location of the bronze coffin, what awaited them was not the truth of history, but the cruelest "accident" that would completely subvert their identity, memory and belief...
It looks good and the storyline is clear.
