Reincarnated as Cannon Fodder, I Cling to the Villainous Prince

Xue Qingyin, a modern woman, unexpectedly transmigrates into an ancient romance novel, Beloved Imperial Consort, as a supporting character destined for a tragic end. To change her fate, she gives up on the original male lead and approaches the cold Prince Xuan, He Juntaing, in hopes of staying alive. But her sweet, guileless advances make He Juntaing mistake her feelings, and as they spend time together, affection grows between them. The original male lead and the palace’s vested interests, however, keep thwarting Xue Qingyin’s attempts to change her fate and sabotaging her relationship with He Juntaing in their struggle for power. Later, He Juntaing’s origins come to light, leaving him torn between revenge and protecting Xue Qingyin. The palace is full of hostility, and He Juntaing’s identity could be exposed at any moment, so time is running short. Though Xue Qingyin uses her wits to establish herself in the palace, the schemes she used against He Juntaing at first lead to misunderstandings. In the end, He Juntaing succeeds in taking his revenge and ascending the throne. After many twists and turns, the two go from using each other to standing together in true love, rewriting their tragic ending.
