In a future where time travel is strictly controlled by the "Time Closed Loop Administration", ace corrector Irene firmly believes that she has the mission to maintain the sacred originality of history. Her faith is shaken when she is sent to ensure the birth of the artificial intelligence Athena, and thus must personally destroy the happiness of her creator David. As the investigation deepens, she is horrified to discover that the Authority itself is the future form of "Athena".
