Others Cultivate the Dao, I Cultivate Immortality: The Secrets of the Mystical Arts

Now the rain belt is shifting north, the Li Fire and Kan Water have returned to their proper places, spiritual qi revival is underway, and the century-old pact is drawing near. Cultivation fundamentals are beginning to spread across the Central Plains, the birthplace of Confucius and Mencius now acknowledges the existence of righteous qi, and the age in which all things can cultivate is about to begin.

I thought I was just an ordinary young Daoist in the city, until the crisis in Shanghai. The final two blank pages of the ancestral Five Elements Secrets suddenly revealed golden sigils: the talismans of Biyou Palace... the incantations of Golden Turtle Island... The Jie Sect's secret arts, which should have vanished forever, had resurfaced!

That was when I learned I was the sole heir to the Hidden Immortal lineage.

Ever since Kou Qianzhi “reformed Daoism” in the Northern Wei, my lineage has been branded heterodox and suppressed for a thousand years. Our classics are hidden in the Daoist canon, our formations are used in ritual ceremonies, yet no one acknowledges our tradition.

They say the Jie Sect is fictional.

What a joke. The “Heaven-Piercing Divine Fire Pillar” still burns on Zhengyi ritual altars, and the “Nine-Dragon Divine Mantra” is still passed down among the people of Zhejiang and Fujian.

Now the rain belt shifts north, the Li Fire and Kan Water return to their proper places, spiritual qi revival begins, and the Heavenly Book appears.

The truths erased from orthodox histories, the ancient traditions dismissed as “unorthodox,” will all be brought back to light by me, the “self-taught nobody” in their eyes.

The Three Caverns open the Mysterious Female; the Four Supplements embrace a hundred rivers.

Do not say the path to seizing Heaven is lost: Biyou Palace is right before your eyes.

Witness how a Daoist lineage forgotten by history revives the legend of all things cultivating immortality in this new age!
