Zhu Xiaochen, a "meridian-stagnant waste" from Shayuan Town, was born with blocked spiritual meridians. Yet a half-piece of mysterious black jade sets him on an extraordinary journey. After his blacksmith father is brutally killed, he flees with the jade and encounters Lin Yuewei, a disciple of the Qingfeng Pavilion, and the "Vast Sea Talisman," becoming entangled in the mystery of the Spirit Source Secret Box that began thirty years ago.
The black jade conceals the ancient cultivation art, the Vast Sea Art, and helps him break through his limitations. The Vast Sea Talisman leads him to explore Vast Sea Continent and uncover the secrets guarded by the Zhu clan. From the siege at Luoxia City to the beastly horde in the Mistveil Forest, and then the hidden secrets of the Lingyun Sect, he uses sea-aspected spiritual energy to overcome each crisis, awakening the power of his bloodline in the direst of circumstances.
When the Lord of Soul Devouring Valley seeks to seize the Hongmeng Core and overturn the two realms, Zhu Xiaochen finally grasps the true meaning of the "Vast Sea Path": protect all living beings with a chivalrous heart and preserve balance with spiritual energy. Watch as this orphan makes an astonishing comeback to become a "Vast Sea Wayfarer," riding the waves with jade in hand and turning his sword into song as he writes a legendary epic spanning the realms of spiritual power and martial arts!
