Linxi, Don’t Cry

I kiss him because he looks prettiest when he cries.

Gu Linxi, the gentle heartthrob of Jingbei University, is abducted in public by the she-devil Shen Ci. She was the blurry little demon in his childhood memories; now, she's the queen whose name makes the capital tremble.

She fought her way out of the servants' quarters, as insignificant as dust, and climbed over corpses to lead her family to the top. In kindergarten, only his tears could make her feel alive. When he disappeared for a week, she beat up everyone who had bullied him, stole his jade pendant, and forced him to “marry” her.

“I, Shen Ci, will protect you forever.”

That childish vow was the only promise she ever made in her life.

Years later, they meet again. He lives beneath the sunshine but faces danger, while she now holds all the power. She will win his battles and shield him from every storm.

With his gentle understanding of psychology, he softly knocks on her frozen heart, becoming the only person who can heal her wounds.

This is the story of a she-devil who turns the world upside down for the only light in her life, and of a puppy-like young man who ultimately becomes the object of her redemptive, obsessive love.
