Deliverance: Bound Gods

I was born with a fate that “invites calamity,” tainted by yin energy and coveted by a hundred ghosts. Desperate to survive, I wandered into the mountains, hoping to seek protection from the mountain spirit said to have attained the Dao. But the fog blinded me, and I mistakenly offered my tribute and vows to a Demon-Suppressing Stele, bound fast by layer upon layer of chains. That night, a man named Mo Yuan entered my dreams. Dressed in black, with dark hair and peerless beauty, he was an ancient Dragon God who had been sealed away for ten thousand years. He told me that my offering had, by a twist of fate, broken his first seal. “Your life is the price for saving mine.” His cold fingertips brushed over my soul. From then on, this dangerous and powerful being clung to me. I was forced to share a room with him and became the “key” to restoring his power. Demons and evil spirits came one after another, drawn by my constitution and the aura of his revival. I entrusted him with my back, and we fought side by side. In the struggle at death’s door, and in the trust born of facing our enemies together, forbidden feelings quietly took root. But I gradually discovered that his escape had been no coincidence, and my fate was far from innate… In this game of chess spanning ten thousand years, am I merely a pawn who wandered in by chance, or… the tribulation and the way home destined for him? When the final truth is revealed, I will offer myself as a sacrifice to deliver him from his calamity, and in doing so, forge my own path to the Dao.
