After an accident, Liang Sinian transmigrates into Sun Wukong, freshly freed from beneath Five Elements Mountain by Tang Sanzang. Knowing full well that he was a pawn in the power struggle between Heaven and Buddhism from the moment he was born, he resolutely decides to stop playing along with this grand pilgrimage. This only strengthens his resolve to return to his master's side. However, an encounter with Patriarch Bodhi at the Peach Banquet after the pilgrimage succeeds, and a secret witnessed by Zhu Bajie, set off a storm in Heaven. The Jade Emperor joins forces with the Star Lords to bring pressure and punishment down on Patriarch Bodhi and Sun Wukong, and a fierce battle begins, entwining a master's deep affection for his disciple with the celestial court's schemes...
