Taking My Chaotic Cat and Mouse to the Apartment

Who could have guessed that I’d crash through a rift in time and space along with a cat and a mouse, landing in Love Apartment? From then on, life in Units 3601 and 3602 went completely off the rails. From Zhanbo moving in during the first season to Dali, Haitang, and Curry Sauce joining in the fifth, Tom was always wrecking the place, Jerry was always stirring up trouble, and I was forever stuck in a meltdown loop of apologizing, chasing cats and mice, and getting roasted by everyone.

People ask what I gained most from Love Apartment. It was watching Zeng Xiaoxian and Yifei go from bickering to getting married, and Ziqiao and Meijia go from sabotaging each other to raising a child. It was forming an unlucky duo with Zhang Wei and chasing Jerry around the supermarket for stealing sausages. It was seeing everyone reunite ten years later, with Tom and Jerry sunning themselves beside me, while the sign at the apartment’s new address still read “Love Apartment.”

As it turns out, the most absurd transmigration brought me to the warmest home. It’s just that getting driven to the brink of moving out by those cat-and-mouse shenanigans every day is genuinely maddening!
