When I Kiss You, I’d Give You My Life

Also known as: “President Mo, Your Cool-Guy Act Has Fallen Apart”

Luo Yun and Mo Ciyan have been tied together by a childhood engagement since they were young.

She’s the lively, mischievous little shadow who’s always at his heels, ready with a flirtatious line.

He’s the icy school heartthrob and future CEO, who responds to all her enthusiasm with one word: “Boring.”

Eventually, Luo Yun gets tired of it and falls out of love. She walks away with her smile intact, but it no longer shines for him.

Mo Ciyan, however, panics.

When he sees her laughing and chatting with an older student on campus,

When he watches someone else try to take her hand,

Mo Ciyan finally loses control. In front of everyone, he pins her against the wall, his eyes burning with a world-shattering, blood-red obsession. His voice hoarse, he says:

“Luo Yun, flirt with me one more time.”

Luo Yun smiles sweetly. “Young Master Mo, weren’t you... contemptuous of me?”

He pulls her fiercely into his arms, squeezing her as if he wants to crush her to the bone, and whispers in her ear, trembling with desperate devotion:

“I’ll give you my life.”
