While inspecting an undiscovered Tang dynasty tomb, the male lead launches into a spirited explanation of the errors on the epitaph, ranting and poking fun at it as the female lead quietly takes notes. He steps into empty air and instinctively grabs her. They both tumble into the main burial chamber, landing right on top of a mysterious bronze coffin. They transmigrate.
