An Agent of the Underworld in 1970s Hong Kong

After dying in an accident caused by a System bug, she is forced to sign a "rebirth contract" with the Underworld. Her soul enters the body of Lin Suxin, the incomplete-souled daughter of a family of metaphysical practitioners in 1990s Hong Kong.

When she opens her eyes, her father is a feng shui master who spoils his daughter and moves freely between the criminal underworld and respectable society, while her grandfather is an orthodox Maoshan Taoist. As for her, a twist of fate awakens her ability to travel freely between the living world and the Underworld, making her a genius at traversing the spirit realm and communicating between yin and yang. Beneath her ethereal exterior lies a walking enforcer of the laws governing the two realms.

When a string of bizarre cases erupts in Kowloon Walled City and the victims' souls mysteriously vanish, Chief Inspector Chen Zi'an of the Major Crimes Unit is forced to work with her. A wealthy heir who loathes the cutthroat world of the rich, he believes in scientific evidence; she commands the laws of yin and yang.

From feng shui traps and curses lurking in wealthy households to the encroachment of Nanyang black magic, each strange case becomes a stepping stone for her to earn merit and uncover the truth.

Watch Lin Suxin wield her ledger of merit, master both the living world and the Underworld, and write her own legend amid the turbulent 1990s Hong Kong.
