This System Keeps Telling Me to Play It Safe

After transmigrating into a minor cultivator of Qingyun Sect, Li Gousheng is bound to the System from the start and assigned a "cautious cultivation" KPI. Not only must he avoid clichéd pitfalls like "running into enemies when going out" and "finding a secret manual after falling off a cliff," he also has to earn Caution Points by doing one good deed a day. Even when solving problems, he has to use "cunning" instead of brute force.

First, he helps a peddler repair his stall and puts together a meal plan for a spirit pet. Then he uses itching powder to drive off the Black Tiger Gang thugs, and makes a "cautious profit" out of Clear Spirit Leaves and scrap pill residue. While others fight over companion spirit crystals, he sells them route maps. While others rush to climb the tower and undergo tribulation, he practices Concealment Arts. Even when paying off debts, he takes the safe route of saving up little by little.

The System says, "When your Caution Points are full, you can draw a prize." But Li Gousheng has realized the truth: compared with the feel-good protagonists who cheat their way through life, quietly building connections, stockpiling resources, and unlocking danger alerts is the ultimate secret to surviving in the cultivation world. After all, you have to stay alive to slowly pay off those "five hundred high-grade spirit stone debts"!
