A Taoist's Travels

[Heir to the Wandering Ones × Curse Bestowal × Travel Between Two Worlds]

[Small-Town Mystery × Folk Horror × Apocalypse Survival]

After leaving a psychiatric hospital, I become the owner of a little inn beside the train station. All I want is a quiet life, yet people keep forcing me to remember a secret: I can use curses to make the guilty pay for their crimes in blood.

Then a young woman named Si Yuping comes to see me, calling me “senior brother” every other breath. She says there is another kind of person in this world, known as the “Wanderers.” We can travel between two worlds, but we are also hunted by the eerie beings of the “Reverse World.”

Only then do I realize that my deadly curse is merely the most insignificant of a Wanderer's “Bestowals.” And my little inn has long been shrouded in the shadow of another world... When the old woman at the late-night food stall outside starts talking to an empty pot, I know they have arrived.
