Journey to the Mountains and Seas: If the Emperor Won't Do It, I Will

Li Huaixi transmigrates into the TV series A Journey to Seek the Mountains and Seas. The good news is that she brought along the strongest golden finger System in online fiction.

The bad news is that this supposedly strongest golden finger can’t beat a Grimoire System. What a waste of such a grand name.

The Damn System’s mission: Earn the protagonist Xiao Qiushui’s trust and reach 80% favorability to obtain the “Invincible Under Heaven” golden finger.

Li Huaixi: This golden finger is great! Perfect! I’ll beat up the corrupt emperor, crush Xiao Kaiyan, and head straight for the finale!

Grimoire System: Heh heh heh. You want a golden finger? Sure, but you don’t mind a few more bugs, do you? “Number One Under Heaven” (only works in midair)

Damn System: Boo-hoo, Host, I can’t beat him.

Li Huaixi, gritting her teeth: I refuse to believe he can change every single one.

Bring up the character list.

Li Chenzhou drinks poison to reassure Emperor An?

Drink what? Give him tonic instead.

Tang Rou takes a sword for his brother?

Move aside, you’re in the way of my sword.

…

Li Huaixi, eyes shining: A mission? I’m on it!

System: Golden finger! Here! (drops to its knees)

Grimoire: Add more! More bugs!

Li Huaixi, growing increasingly unhinged: Save them!

System, starry-eyed: Congratulations on completing the mission! Here’s your golden finger! (drops to its knees)

Grimoire: More!

…

Li Huaixi, coming back to her senses: One bug is a bug, but how do a whole bunch of bugs suddenly work?!

Original female protagonist: Li Huaixi. Main CP: Xiao Qiushui, though the romance may not be very prominent.

The heroine doesn’t set out to become emperor from the start. It’s only much later, when she realizes her greatest enemy is that useless emperor who keeps sabotaging her, that she kicks the corrupt emperor aside.
