Qingzhao and I Are Drinking Buddies

Core premise:

Su Wanbing, a modern working woman who is passionate about Song Dynasty poetry and works at an ancient-book restoration institute, accidentally transmigrates to Qizhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, now Jinan, while restoring a damaged manuscript by Li Qingzhao. A tear and a wine stain she inadvertently leaves behind bring her there, where she unexpectedly forms a close friendship with the young widow Li Qingzhao, before the latter has endured the hardships of the southward migration. Su Wanbing discovers that, beyond what history records, Qingzhao has a secret mission: to protect the "spirit of ci poetry" and the "soul of wine." The force behind Su Wanbing's transmigration is also connected to a hidden current seeking to alter the cultural legacy and overturn history. Their souls, from two different eras, find harmony through wine and poetry, and together embark on a magnificent journey to safeguard the flame of civilization.

Overall tone: Elegant poetry and wine, fantastical splendor, warmth and heroism intertwined. The story recreates the refined charm of the Song Dynasty while unfolding an expansive fantasy setting.
