Reverse Transmigration: Did I Just Pick Up a Pikachu?

(Pokemon reverse transmigration, unconventional plot, cozy and heartwarming slice of life, Pokemon transmigrate to the real world, not a Trainer) Their home always felt so empty. Her mother’s half-finished scarf lay draped over the balcony railing, and dust gathered on her father’s old slippers. On rainy days, Pikachu would come over from the alley, calling out, “Pika pika!” Whenever Su Luo felt lonely, it curled up beside her hand. When she read, it would settle by the pages of her book. Little by little, life took on a new shape. Pikachu was always rubbing against her palm for affection. Gengar hid behind the curtains, using its shadow to tease Pikachu and Blaziken, yet quietly stayed concealed in the shadows to protect them. Snorlax followed the smell of bread in through the balcony, sometimes sinking the sofa under its weight, but would still break off a generous piece of its favorite cream bread and push it toward her. Gardevoir, whom they met in the woods, used its psychic powers to toss vegetables in the pan and sprinkle salt from the spice jar, and took care of everything from wiping down the stove to setting the table. When Su Luo refused to get out of bed, Blaziken would hoist her up. It even lifted Snorlax for a workout in the living room, yet whenever danger arose, it was always the first to shield her. Sometimes they went to the riverside outside the city. Pikachu chased the waves, Blaziken hooked a foot around the straw hat blown away by the wind, and Gengar used its shadow to “steal” Snorlax’s snacks, only to be lifted into the air by Gardevoir’s psychic powers. Su Luo no longer sat staring at the scarf. She secretly saved photos of herself with the Pokemon on her phone, and sometimes smiled as she looked through them. Even the wind by the river seemed sweet. The moments that had once left Su Luo feeling lonely were gradually filled with the Pokemon’s bustle and laughter. These once-quiet days had long since been sweetened by her companions.
