A Cement Factory in the Tang Dynasty? I've Got Everything in My Warehouse

In the fifth year of the Zhenguan era, Chang'an suffers a severe drought, and the dead lie everywhere.

Deep in the Cold Palace, Li, who has just transmigrated, clutches the last half of a moldy bun.

A line of text appears before his eyes: [Strategic Warehouse bound. Future supplies available for extraction.]

“Give me a bag of rice first, or I’m done for!”

The next moment, fine rice hits the ground. But the accompanying potato seeds make his eyes light up. This crop could save the Tang dynasty!

Just as his first planting succeeds, the great clans set fire to the fields. “This demon crop will bring disaster to the realm!” Li Yan sneers. That very night, he extracts a fire extinguisher and, while he’s at it, digs up proof that his enemies embezzled disaster relief grain.

When he presents himself before the emperor, he offers up potatoes, only to be impeached by a censor: “The demon child must be executed!”

Before Li Shimin can speak, the warehouse suddenly chimes: [Turkic unrest detected. Unlock cannons with 1,000 military merits.]

Li Yan looks up. “Your Majesty, I can do more than grow crops. I can expand the realm!”
