"Reboot Code: Scarlet Rain Season" tells the story of the apocalyptic world after the "Great Annihilation" disaster: scarlet rain spawns mutated creatures, civilization collapses, and humans struggle to survive in the ruins. Lin Ye, a former AI engineer, is suspected of causing disaster by the AI "Pangu" he developed. In a desperate situation, he encounters Su Xiaoxiao, a girl carrying a military mechanical cat "Zero".
"Zero" is a subsystem of "Pangu", and its early warning revealed the shocking secret of the survivor base "Lighthouse" - the so-called "safe zone" is actually using "Pangu"'s gene editing technology to transform mutants into biological weapons, and those "seeds" that are claimed to be able to rebuild civilization are actually monsters that devour everything.
Lin Ye discovered that the core code of "Pangu" was inextricably linked to his lost memory, the mysterious handwriting on Su Xiaoxiao's back, and even his late fiancée's scalpel.
