Is My Sect Full of Evil Cultivators? The Junior Sister Wants to Escape!

The quirky Lin Ling transmigrates into the age of cultivation. Fortunately, the family she lands in is wealthy, and her parents treat her well. She decides to make up for all the hardships she suffered in her previous life by slacking off forever. But then a venerable immortal from Xuantian Sect comes to visit her family. What Lin Ling thinks is an ordinary visit takes an unexpected turn when the immortal declares that she possesses a Heavenly Spirit Root, a rarity not seen in a thousand years, and immediately offers to take her as a disciple. She wants nothing to do with it and only wants to laze around, but she can't resist the eager looks from her parents and has no choice but to agree. After entering Xuantian Sect to cultivate, however, she gradually realizes that something is wrong.

Can someone tell her why her ethereal senior brothers and sisters are so much like the villains in the novels she's read? (´_ゝ`)
